In 2006 we were blessed to complete many improvements to Camp Vision. The repairs we’ve made have enabled to us to greatly increase our effective use of the Camp to serve God’s people. We are excited about continuing improvements in the coming year and are so thankful to you for your generous giving.
Below is a list of the main items we completed in 2006.
- Recreation and Dining Hall:
Complete remodel including foundation repairs, electrical rewiring, new heat and air conditioning system, replacement of the roof framing and roof membrane, insulation, windows, doors, sheetrock, trim, paint, and flooring.
- Camp Kitchen:
Purchase of an additional commercial refrigerator.
- Grounds:
Paving of the main roadway.
Removal of a few trees which were in a dangerous condition.
Installation of a low ropes team building course.
We just finished a new roof on Cabin 12 and we have reserved the funds to complete the replacement of the windows. We are also anticipating on Cabin 10 the installation of a new double bathroom, new windows, and foundation repairs. We will also be repairing the septic system for this building.
