Planning the management of your estate allows you to support Spirit & Truth Fellowship International even after your lifetime.
2 Corinthians 9:6 (NIV)
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV)
You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
Our vision of “Building An Enduring Work of Truth” requires we think beyond our own lives. We must think multigenerationally, and estate planning is a great way to do that.
Who Should Consider Estate Planning?
You, if you have property of any kind—money, real estate, stocks and bonds, personal possessions. You should have a will to ensure that your assets go where you want them to go. In your will, you can:
• specify careand financial support of your children, grandchildren, and other loved ones
• support organizations and causes that were important to you
• leave agodly legacy as one who stood for God and His Truth
As Christians, we see estate planning as part of being a faithful steward of God’s provision to us, whereby we manage with love and gratitude the resources He has graciously given us. Such giving to further the Gospel is an enduring tribute to a life of faith and service.
Our Privilege and Responsibility as Children of God
As children of God, the light of the world and the salt of the earth, we have the joyous privilege and the God-given responsibility of stewarding His resources and passing on a godly heritage to future generations.
A “heritage” is “an inherited lot or portion.” All that we have we have received from our heavenly Father, and it is incumbent upon each of us to make the most of it, such that God’s investment in us pays dividends to those who respond to His call.
The Bible mentions heritage and inheritance nearly 300 times, such as Psalm 119:111: “Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.”
As good stewards of the Word of God, as well as His material blessings, the testimony of our lives can reach beyond our years, beyond our own family, and touch the world.
