How to Request a Spirit & Truth Fellowship International Event

Dear Friends,

As our community grows, we want to empower our people to assume more and more responsibility for sponsoring regional events. Accordingly, we are asking that any requests for regional events be submitted to the Home Office by August of the year prior to the event. This will allow us to finalize the upcoming calendar year at our annual Servant-Leadership Conference.

Below is a description of the various types of events we have and the various areas of responsibility. An "official" Spirit & Truth Event is one that has been approved by us as we assume responsibility both spiritually and legally for the event. A Spirit & Truth Event will have at least one Board member or Board representative in attendance. For proper planning purposes with the Home Office staff and Board members schedules we need to know well in advance when an event is to be held.

If you believe that there should be a regional event in your area then we ask that you complete the Event Request Form and return it to us. Please provide as much information as possible so we can properly evaluate your request.

Spirit & Truth Fellowship Events

1. National Events
National events are designed to serve the entire Spirit & Truth faith community. They are completely sponsored and underwritten by the ministry. All National events have a Board member or Board representative present. The ministry assumes full liability and complete responsibility for its successful production. The complete resources of the Home Office administration and personnel are utilized for the support and organizing of National Events.

2. Regional Events
Regional events are primarily held to serve a specific target audience, which generally includes a multi-state area. These events are sponsored by the saints in a regional area and produced in conjunction with the full support and underwriting of the ministry of Spirit & Truth Fellowship International. A Board member, or a Board representative attends all regional events, generally serving in the role of the Spiritual Coordinator. The regional leadership assumes much of the responsibility for the organizing of the event with the Home Office providing administrational support.

Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California)

East Coast (all Eastern states)
Southern(Texas and surrounding states)
Central (Midwest states)

3. Area Events
Many times the saints in the Spirit & Truth Fellowship Community desire to hold local events. Typical reasons for these events can include the running of a Good News Class, evangelism, and discipleship. Many times a fellowship or combination of fellowship will work cooperatively. These events are the sole responsibility of the host area for organization and production. The ministry of Spirit & Truth Fellowship International highly encourages the gathering of our saints and supports these event by providing names from our mailing list but provides no formal spiritual oversight, administrative support, or liability. Any insurance, if required, is the responsibility of the local area.
