In 2010 Spirit & Truth Fellowship is exploring the theme of “Building on the Firm Foundation,” so in this issue of The Sower we focus on Jesus Christ, the foundation of each individual Christian and the Church itself. With Christ as our foundation we will not fail, and the more we learn about him as our foundation, the more secure we will feel. This issue of The Sower also explores the various names and descriptions of Christ as the Messiah, as well as his role as the pillar and bulwark of truth for the Church. The more we know about Jesus, the clearer we will be on how to build our lives as Christians. God, as the owner of the building, has delivered to us the blueprint and specifications that He expects us as skilled tradespersons to follow. When we do our work of love and godly deeds we will be doing our part to erect a holy building that will endure.
