“Good Friday is the Friday immediately before Easter. It is celebrated by many Christians as the day Jesus was crucified and died. But did Jesus really die on this day of the week?

WE believe this is another instance where Christian tradition makes a wrong turn from the truth. The chart below is a great illustration that demonstrates that if Jesus really was who he said he was, then he had to have died on Wednesday, not Friday, otherwise he would not have fulfilled the prophetic requirement that the Messiah would be dead for three days and three nights.

He dies at 3:00pm Wednesday and rises from the tomb at Sunset on Saturday, which is when the next day begins according to Jewish culture.
