(Thanks to Renee Speakes for bringing this to our attention)

People often like to read 1 Corinthians 13 to remind themselves of the various ways love is expressed. Have you ever considered that since God is love (1 John 4:8) that all those qualities can be said about Him too? In the passage below we have just exchanged the word “God” for “love,” and in doing so believe it presents a pretty awesome picture of what God is really like.

God is patient.
God is kind.
He does not envy.
God does not boast.
He is not proud.
He is not rude.
He is not self-seeking.
God is not easily angered.
God keeps no record of wrongs.
God does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth.
God always protects., always entrust, always hopes, always preserves.
God never fails

And now these three remain, faith, hope, and God.
But the greatest of these is God!
